Maresca says he is not worried by Guéhi's costly errors after Villa win
Enzo Maresca insists he is not concerned about Marc Guéhi’s recent form after Manchester City lost their first league match of the season to Aston Villa. Guéhi spilled the ball into the path of John McGinn, who set up Nicolas Jackson for the opener. Jackson added a second goal to secure a 2-1 victory for Villa at Villa Park. Maresca noted that Guéhi has played every minute since the season started, making the physical and mental demands significant. He added that the substitution at half-time was also tactical due to a yellow card received in the 32nd minute. Unai Emery praised Jackson’s performance, highlighting his improved shooting and tactical understanding. The result marks City's first league defeat of the season, though Maresca emphasized learning from the game and moving forward.
