Mbappe double sinks Barca as Mourinho celebrates in style
Kylian Mbappe scored twice to secure a famous 2-1 victory for Real Madrid at Barcelona, ending the hosts' perfect league start. The victory closes the gap to just three points in the LaLiga title race, with Atletico Madrid also within striking distance. Mourinho's jubilant knee-slide celebration captured the magnitude of the upset, as Real Madrid demonstrated they could compete toe-to-toe with the defending champions. The result shifts momentum in the league, proving Madrid's resilience despite earlier controversy over an unpunished foul by Joao Cancelo. With the Ballon d'Or ceremony approaching, Mbappe's performance further strengthens his case, leaving Barcelona to regroup after a disappointing week.
