Terms of Service

EventFlix (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at event-flix.com and provides an AI-powered wedding video experience. By using our service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

EventFlix is a trading name of POLICYANDPLAY LTD, registered in England and Wales. Contact: hello@event-flix.com

EventFlix allows:

• Couples to create a free wedding event page and share a QR code with guests.
• Guests to take a selfie which is used as the starting frame for an AI-generated 5-second video scene. A watermarked preview is free; HD download costs £5 (GBP).

AI video generation typically takes 60–120 seconds. We do not guarantee a specific completion time.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. By submitting a selfie or purchasing a download you confirm you meet this requirement.

You may only submit photos of yourself. Do not submit photos of other people without their explicit consent.

The HD download costs £5.00 GBP per video, charged at the time of purchase via Stripe.

Refund policy: Because the video is a digital good personalised specifically for you, we are unable to offer refunds once the HD download has been delivered or accessed. If you experience a technical failure preventing delivery, contact us within 7 days and we will investigate.

All prices include VAT where applicable.

You retain ownership of the selfie photo you submit. By submitting it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely to generate your AI video and delete it immediately afterwards (typically within 60 minutes).

Once generated and paid for, the video is yours to keep and share personally. You may not sell, sub-license, or use it for commercial purposes without our written consent.

We own all rights in the EventFlix platform, technology, and AI models used to generate videos.

You must not:

• Submit photos of a third party without their consent
• Attempt to generate content that is defamatory, obscene, or illegal
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our AI models
• Use automated tools to access or abuse the service
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to refuse service or remove content at our discretion.

Videos are generated by third-party AI models (fal.ai / Kling). We do not control the exact output. While we use prompts designed for wedding entertainment, we cannot guarantee every result will meet your expectations. The free preview allows you to review the video before purchasing.

AI-generated faces may not be a perfect likeness. The service is intended for fun and entertainment, not professional photography.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventFlix is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunity
• Any claim arising from the use or inability to use the service

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or £5 if no payment was made).

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service for maintenance or in response to abuse without notice.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will note the revision date at the top of this page.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
